Itinerary

Day 1 - Board the splendid carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express at Rome Ostiense station in the evening. Your steward will show you to your private compartment and will attend you throughout your journey. Enjoy a specially prepared cocktail in the Bar Car, before taking your seat in one of the beautifully restored restaurant cars for a leisurely four-course supper prepared by our skilled French chefs. After dinner you may want to linger in the bar listening to the sounds of the baby grand piano. When you are ready, you can retire to your compartment which has now been transformed into a cosy bedroom.

Day 2 - A delicious continental breakfast is served in your compartment by your personal steward before arriving at Venice Santa Lucia station.

Itinerary

Day 1 - On the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Depart London Victoria on the British Pullman. Later, after crossing to France, board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in Calais for the overnight journey to Venice.

Lunch and dinner included. Overnight on board.

Days 2 & 3 - Venice
Arrive in Venice, for a two-night stay at your chosen hotel. Time is at leisure although our Venetian Tapestry tour on selected Saturdays can be arranged for you.

Breakfast included. Overnight in Venice.

Day 4 - Rome
Leave Venice in the morning on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for the journey to Rome, arriving late afternoon for a two-night stay.

Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea included. Overnight in Rome.

Day 5 - Rome
There is much to see and do, from the sights of Ancient Rome, such as the Colesseum, or simply enjoy shopping in the many elegant stores.
Breakfast included. Overnight in Rome.

Day 6 - London
Transfer to Rome's airport for your return British Airways flight to London Heathrow or Gatwick.
