Day 1 - Paris
Depart on the Eurostar (Leisure Select Class) from London to Paris for your overnight at Le Meurice Hotel.

Day 2 - On the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in the afternoon for your journey to Budapest, Hungary's capital city.

Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight on board.

Day 3 - Budapest
Arrive in Budapest for an overnight stay at the Atrium hotel, with dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4 - On the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
The next day, sightsee in the morning. Rejoin the train after lunch (included) for your journey to Bucharest.

Day 5 - Bucharest
Following a stop at Peles Castle, the spectacular, former summer retreat of the Romanian royal family, arrive in Bucharest in the early afternoon. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the capital before staying overnight at the Athenée Palace Hilton hotel.

Day 6 - On the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Depart Bucharest in the morning. En route to Turkey, a stop is made at Varna, Bulgaria's third-largest city, which has elegant 19th-century buildings and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Days 7, 8 & 9 - Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul late afternoon for three nights at the Ciragan Palace Hotel. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Istanbul with lunch at a local restaurant on Day 8.

Day 10 - London
Return by air to London Heathrow with British Airways.

Visit the Asian side of the city before boarding the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for the start of your journey.

Arrive Bucharest early afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the Athenée Palace Hilton hotel. City sightseeing is included en route to your hotel.

Day 6 - On the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Board the train in the morning for Budapest. A stop is made to visit the opulent, art-filled Peles Castle, built in 1873 for the King of Romania. Lunch is at a local restaurant.

Day 7 - Budapest
Arrive in Budapest for a city tour followed by lunch, before checking in to the Atrium hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.

The train leaves in the morning for Vienna, where you have a short city tour before continuing to Venice.
