Depart Bangkok early morning from hotel by coach to Kanchanburi. Visit the JEATH war museum to view a realistic replica of a prisoner of war's living quarters containing sketches and photographs describing life in the camp.Continue to the War cemetery, the final resting place for over 6,000 allied prisoners of 0war followed by a visit to the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai. |

Board the original Death Railway train to enjoy a journey through strikingly beautiful landscape passing over a dangerous-looking wooden bridge built along the station, located on the border between Thailand and Myanmar. Check-in at the hotel. After lunch, take a short boat trip upstream to explore the Kaeng Lava Cave with its fantastic stone formations. Dinner and overnight at the River Kwai Village Hotel. |

Day 2 - ( River Kwai to Bangkok )
After breakfast, spend the morning relaxing or explore the surrounding area. After lunch, at the hotel, transfer back to your hotel in Bangkok ( arrival approximately 18.30 hrs ). |

Depart early morning from your hotel in Bangkok for Kanchanaburi. Visit the Jeath war museum to view a realistic replica of a prisoner-of-war's living quarters containing sketches and photographs describing life in the camp and along the railway line. Visit the War Cemetry, the final resting place for over 6,000 allied prisoners of war and continue to the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai.
Enjoy a train ride on the historic Death Railway, passing through strikingly beautiful landscape. After lunch, take a long-tailed boat on the River Kwai, passing unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery and visit a nearby ethnic Mon tribal village. Dinner and overnight at the River Kwai Resotel or at River Kwai Jungle Rafts. |

Day 2 - ( River Kwai )
After breakfast, take a boat ride upstream to Saiyoke Yai Waterfall & National Park – experience nature at it's best. Return to your resort for lunch. Then visit Kaeng Lava Cave to explore its fantastic stone formations. Kaeng Lava Cave is considered as one of Thailand's most beautiful caves. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure ( optional elephant riding, canoeing or bamboo rafting can be arranged here at an extra cost ). Dinner and overnight stay at River Kwai Resotel or at River Kwai Jungle Rafts. |

Day 3 - ( River Kwai to Bangkok )
After breakfast take a boat ride to Resotel pier and continue by road to the Hellfire Pass Memorial. Return to your hotel for lunch after which you transfer back to your hotel in Bangkok. |

| Day 1 - Bangkok to Kanchanaburi and Sri Nakarin Dam |
Depart from your hotel in Bangkok at around 07.00 for the drive to Kanchanaburi. Stop first at the Ninth Army Historical Park, located on a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.This museum focuses on the many conflicts that took place in the region between the Thai and neighbouring Burmese forces. |

Depart the museum for the short drive to the famous 7-tiered Erawan Waterfall. Here you will have the chance to swin in the crystal-clear limestone pools and learn about the local wildlife population, including the Asian Elephant, tiger, bear and a range of primates. Lunch overlooking the massive Sri Nakarin reservoir is followed by a drive on dirt track through forest and rural villages to the forest station of Huay Mae Kamin. |

Site of another beautiful waterfall, spend time here looking for some of the many species of birs that inhabit the area and learn about the huge plant diversity. Continue along the dirt road for a short distance before boarding a small car ferry to cross the Sri Nakarin reservoir. Arrive at your lakeside resort at approximately 5 pm. Here you can swim, walk or simply relax on the balcony watching the sun set over the lake before a sumptuous Thai dinner. Overnight at Pistawan Resort. |
Day 2 - Sri Nakarin National Park
Wake up to the sound of birds before breakfast. You will have some time to swim or relax before setting off for Wat Phapirun. Here you can see at first hand the life of rural monks and visit the waterfall. You then continue on the dirt track to a dramatic view point overlooking the lake where your support team will serve a picnic lunch. After lunch continue through forest and rural villages to visit a local Karen hill tribe where you will learn about mushroom cultivation and this community's unique culture and way of life. A little further down the road is a forest ranger station where your support team will set up a comfortable tented camp consisting of a large dining tent with tables and chairs with mosquito netting, sleeping tents with pillows and mattresses. Hot and cold showers are also set up. Sit down to a delicious Thai dinner prepared by the camp staff before settling down to a night sleeping in your tent. |

Day 3 - Sri Nakarin National Park to Chalerm Ratanakosin National Park en route to Bangkok
After breakfast with a fresh brew of tea or coffee that is delivered to your tent ,you take a short drive to Chalerm Ratanakosin National Park where you can enter a magical limestone grotto known as Tham Tha Lord cave. Here you will see huge stalagmites and stalactites, palms, ferns and lush vegetation before heading back to camp. Back on the road, this time to visit a nearby sapphire mining facility where you can learn about the polishing of sapphires before being made into jewellery. After lunch, transfer back to Kanchanaburi to visit the World War 11 cemetry and museum together with the famous Bridge over the River Kwai before the drive back to your hotel in Bangkok. |
